Sony has brought some interesting audio products at the CES 2019 event, including the new portable and wireless party speakers and 4K OLED TVs. Well, that’s not it as the company also brings new soundbars and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player as well.

The soundbars come in two models – HTX8500 and the HT-S350. The former has Dolby Atmos/DTS:X with built-in subwoofers and the latter offers an impressive surround sound and deep powerful bass.

Sony X8500

The X8500 delivers a three-dimensional cinematic sound experience. This 2.1ch Dolby Atmos/DTS:X compatible soundbar provides high-quality audio. Thanks to the Vertical Surround Engine, the soundbar can deliver up to 7.12ch surround sound no matter what type of room you’ve placed it.

The soundbar comes with seven different modes which you can choose from according to your need, for instance, these are cinema mode and gameplay mode, allowing you to enjoy watching movies and playing immersive games. It has one-cable HDMI eARC support for the latest high-quality sound formats for compatible televisions. It also has Bluetooth wireless connectivity that allows you to connect easily to a TV.

Soundbar HT-S350

The HT-S350 soundbar comes with enhanced S-Force Pro Front Surround technology that helps in delivering surround sound and deep powerful bass. The soundbar can be easily connected to a TV via HDMI ARC and Bluetooth functionality as well.

X800M2 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player

Sony has also launched the new X800M2 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player as well with Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). It supports highest quality audio formats, including Hi-Res Audio and DSD. The X800M2 is compatible with all major disc formats, including SACD/DVD-A, as well as 4K streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube. Sony claims that with the X8500 and X800M2, users can achieve the best home cinema experience.

The HT-X8500, HT-S350 and UBP-X800M2 will be available in spring 2019 and the pricing will be announced at the same time.
