Razer which is well known for its gaming-centric hardware, including PCs, Laptops and Android Phone, is integrating Amazon Alexa voice commands to let users control the RGB lighting. This will make it easier to control the RGB lit gaming systems from Razer.
The company announced that it will introduce Alexa controls through its Synapse 3 software which will let users control the Chroma lights through Razer headsets and microphones. Users will be able to control the lighting on Razer Mice, Keyboards, Audio devices, PC cases, Motherboards, Cooling fans, and other PC peripherals.
For an example, you can ask Alexa to start a Game, change the lighting to the mode you choose and even change the DPI settings of your monitor, all via simple spoken commands. Razer says “Alexa voice control will work with both Razer hardware and any third-party products that connect through the company’s Chroma Connected Devices Program.”
Apart from changing the color of light, you can ask Alexa to change the mouse sensitivity as well among other things like change audio settings or even launch Games. The Synapse 3 acts as a platform to connect devices which otherwise do not have AI abilities.
