Samsung Galaxy S10 alleged launch date February 20th

10 January 2019 3

As CES 2019 wraps up, World Mobile Congress (WMC) is just around the corner and is scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain. Unfortunately, WMC won’t have the privilege of being the stage for Samsung to launch its new Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone. The smartphone is speculated to launch at an event which is scheduled to take place a few days before WMC. A special Press Conference may set the stage for the launch of the Galaxy S10 on February 20th. Rumour has it that the Press Conference will take place in San Francisco.

The leak comes from Samsung Insider Ice Universe who took to Twitter to share the exciting news. However, one must take it with more than just a pinch of salt as there is no reliable information except for this tip-off. In fact, earlier rumours suggested that the device would launch on March 8th. On the flip side, it does make sense for Samsung to launch its tenth-anniversary smartphone before WMC. Doing so could actually steal the limelight away from WMC. The only way to find out anything is to wait to see if Samsung does have an event on the 20th of February.

There have been numerous leaks regarding the Galaxy S10, including its design, display and even specifications. The device is rumoured to launch in five different variants, with most of the changes being in terms of storage and memory capacities. One thing is for sure, The Samsung Galaxy S10 is definitely going to be one smartphone to keep an eye out for!
