Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro might feature on-screen fingerprint sensor

While we have been hearing a lot about the upcoming smartphone from Mi in the shape of Mi Redmi Note 7 Pro, there are countless rumors and speculations floating around the same. A recently floating leak in this regard shared how Snapdragon 675 SoC would be incorporated in the upcoming flagship. Considering how the Redmi Note 7 featured a 48MP camera sensor, we could also expect an improved camera unit in there as well.


The company previous asked its fans as to what they believe should be the specifications of Redmi Note 7 Pro and fans wanted to go with a 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB RAM/Storage options debunking the 3GB/32GB variant. Apart from this, fans also recommended to have an on-screen fingerprint sensor, and interestingly, Mi seems to have taken that into consideration.


The CEO of Xiaomi Technology Lu Weibing shared how Note 7 Pro would have a 48MP ultra-clear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor with super night scene offerings. The smartphone would rock Snapdragon 675 which is based upon 11nm process along with Adreno 612 as a GPU. The Xiaomi chief shared how Note 7 Pro would be hitting the market in Spring Festival at a price point of above $208 which is the price tag for Redmi Note 7, so considering that Note 7 Pro would surely exceed that mark.

Compared to the Redmi Note 7, the Pro version will be a bit costlier, no doubt. But features like the in-display fingerprint sensor will add to that extra cost, correct?
