HMD has made a major announcement with the aim of bringing the best visual display processing on smartphones to its customers. The company has announced its extended partnership with Pixelworks. Pixelworks is the company which helps improve visual display processing and advanced video delivery. An example of this is the Nokia 7.1 smartphone.
The Nokia 7.1 boasts of an impressive PureDisplay screen which results in an improved viewing experience. The Nokia 7.1 is the first smartphone which uses the last-gen Iris processor and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC. It is precisely the Pixelworks technology which sets the mid-range smartphone apart from other smartphones in the same market segment and price range. Such advanced video technology improves HDR 10 video quality as well as local contrast and sharpness enhancement.
This announcement couldn’t have come at a better time. In fact, HMD Global is just gearing up to bring out the next Nokia smartphones on February 24th.
