Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 gain Digital Wellbeing to cut down excessive usage of apps

22 February 2019 4

The Nokia 6 which was launched with Android 7.0 Nougat update received Android 9 Pie update with February’s security patch as well. This isn’t it as the device has reportedly also gained the Digital Wellbeing, a feature which was first made exclusive to the Google Pixel and Android One devices. However, this isn’t the first device out of the league, several other phones have also received this feature and as per a new trace found, Android Q will gain it too, at least we have heard it for the Google Chrome.

Apart from the Nokia 6, the Nokia 8 is also receiving the feature with the stable Android Pie update which began rolling out to the users in December.

Digital Wellbeing app helps you to discord the excessive usage of any app for longer. It nudges you to disconnect according to the app timers set up by you and also offers the daily view of your digital habits and how frequently you use different apps.

Coming to the latest updates, both the devices get features like Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness, and some other Android Pie features like the integration bar. If your Nokia 6 or the Nokia 8 has received the Android Pie then you can find the Digital Wellbeing within the Settings.

HMD Global is one of those companies that promises to bring the latest software updates and features. This is one such virtue that is making the company stand out from others.
