The launch of the Galaxy A40 looks imminent as the device has now surfaced at FCC. Before this, the phone was spotted at Geekbench revealing some key details. The device pit stopped at FCC has the model number SM-A405FN and according to the listing, the smartphone measures 144.3x69.
The FCC listing also revealed that the device will also feature a 5.7-inch display which alludes the phone will target the users who want to use the device with single-handedly. The listing also reveals the connectivity specs which include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, and ANT+. Also, the Galaxy A30 and A50 both come with the USB Type-C, so we can assume that the Galaxy A40 will have it too.
According to some previously leaked information, the Galaxy A40 could come powered by Exynos 7904 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with an option to further expand the storage using the microSD card slot. However, the Geekbench listing shows the Exynos 7885 processor. The phone is expected to ship with Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.
