Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is coming, but when it’s coming is completely unknown. While we await its launch, the registrations for the phone have already gone live in China. Also, many details on the same have already been leaked and in fact, the company itself is teasing some key details as well. Now, from the latest couple of teasers, it’s confirmed that the next gaming smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC with a hefty 12GB RAM. The Geekbench listing, however, has already confirmed the RAM size.
Also, while the complete look of the device is unknown, a hands-on image has shown what it looks like from the back. The registration page which is live on the official Black Shark e-store has revealed three storage configuration of the device, these include 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. Also, according to the listing, it will be available in “Frozen Silver” color. Also, the image on the listing page suggests that the Black Shark 2 will feature a backlit logo as well with illuminated strips running on both sides.
Another major key detail which is confirmed is the presence of the Liquid Cooling tech 3.0 for thermal management. Also, the teaser posters have indicated that it will feature a curved design with sharp lines on the rear panel similar to what we see on the original Black Shark gaming smartphone.
Going by the listing of the Black Shark 2, it seems like the device will get launched soon or at least we will hear when it’s coming.
