The Android Q Beta 1 has been released for all the Pixel devices and so its code to the enthusiasts who love to extract some hidden gems. The folks at XDA Developers have found the new Google Pixel 3a XL branding Android Q beta 1 code. The Pixel 3a XL seems to be the commercial name of Google’s rumored mid-range Pixel smartphones that was earlier believed to be called the Pixel 3 XL Lite. Although the Pixel 3a branding was not seen, it’s not difficult to assume that the smaller variant of the Pixel 3a XL will be called Pixel 3a.
The publication was also able to spot the rumored codenames for the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL – Sargo and Bonito in the Android Q beta code. A reference to Sargo has also been found in the Google Camera app, which further mentions the Pixel 3a XL.
These two new mid-range smartphones are likely to be powered by Snapdragon 670 processor and Snapdragon 710 SoC. While the Pixel 3a will feature a 5.56-inch full HD+ display, its XL variant is expected to feature the 6-inch full HD+ display. The battery of the Pixel 3a is also known and it’s sad to be the 2,915mAH battery.
In related news, an alleged schematic of the upcoming Pixel 4XL has surfaced. It shows Google has finally adopted the dual rear cameras trend. Also, the front of the display includes two cameras with a punch-hole design.
This is just the schematic and several graphic designers have given it the shape by making a mockup of it.
