Apple has now issued new builds to its testers for its operating systems of different hardware. It’s the sixth round of developer betas for iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2, and macOS 10.14.4. The last round of developer betas and their simultaneous public betas arrived just last week. This shows Apple is quickening the release schedule for its developer betas.
The new builds can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center or for devices that are already running developer beta versions of the operating systems. The public betas to these have also been released, but the watchOS hasn’t received it yet. So, those who are in the beta program can download them from Apple Beta Software Program website.
Note that the latest iOS 12.2 beta is build number 16E5227a, replacing the fifth build, 16E5223a. Apple's newest build of watchOS 5.2 is number 16T5225a, up from the fifth-generation 16T5222a. Furthermore, the new sixth build of tvOS 12.2 is build 16L5226a, taking over from the fifth build 16L5221a. Lastly, macOS 10.14.4's sixth beta, build 18E220a is an increment over the previous build, 18E215a.
It’s highly advisable to backup all the important data before proceeding with the beta installation as there’s a possibility of data loss or other issues.
