Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has clinched the top spot by Consumer Reports’ smartphone ratings. In the blog post announcing the success of the Galaxy S10 Plus, Consumer Reports tells that the phone's exceptional way to perform the basics takes it to the top of others in the list.
The phone grabs the highest ratings due to its longest battery life, excellent cameras, and the durability to withstand regular abuses.
The nonprofit member organization says the combination of bigger batteries and Qualcomm's latest speedy processor has helped the Galaxy S10 Plus reach heights. The test results by the organization have shown a full 8 hours life over the last topper Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The organization put the phone through a range of tasks by using a robotic finger which has been programmed to perform. “The robot browses the internet, snaps pictures, streams a video, uses GPS navigation, enjoys a little quiet standby time, and, of course, makes phone calls.”
Also, in its durability test in which the phone undergoes several hurdles, the Galaxy S10 Plus came our ‘unscathed.’ It also successfully passed the water-immersion test.
But one thing where Samsung’s phones fall a little short, according to Consumer Reports. Testers of organization found that they didn’t take great bokeh photos compared with other phones on the market. Another aspect which can be buggy, according to the organization is the fingerprint scanner which sometimes doesn’t respond as it should.
However, Samsung scores also high enough on another survey of Consumer Reports to earn the brand an excellent rating for predicting reliability and a very good rating for owner satisfaction.
