Sony Xperia 2 might be coming with 6.2-inch CinemaWide display and triple cameras

29 March 2019 2

Sony is reportedly working on the successor of the Xperia 1 and the specifications of the same have surfaced as well. According to the Japanese website which is reporting the alleged specifications, the device could feature a 6.2-inch CinemWide display that will offer an aspect ratio of 21:9 along with a screen resolution of 2880x1234 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor and most likely to bear the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The Xperia 2 is expected to hold triple rear cameras setup, the configuration which is currently unknown. It’s likely that one of them would be ToF sensor but take it with a pinch of salt. The leaked details even offer the dimensions, according to which the Xperia 2 could measure 161x70x8.1mm.

It’s expected that the Xperia 2 may launch at IFA show in Berlin sometime in September but just be skeptical about these leaked specifications as it’s too early to see them coming and that after a month of the launch of its predecessor Xperia 1.

To recall, the Xperia 1 was launched with some powerful specs, including the Snapdragon 855 processor, 4K HDR OLED display, Qi wireless charging, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. Now, the details on the Xperia 2 look more or less similar to the Xperia 1, except the screen size. Well, let’s just wait to see more details coming on the same. Stay tuned.

Going through the phone details of the Sony Xperia 2, it more or less reminds us of the Sony Xperia 1, with not much to differentiate between the two.
