The Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL devices are no longer available on the US store, this suggests that Google may have discontinued them. If you try to access the Pixel 2 on the Google Store, it will redirect you to the Pixel 3 devices. The site’s “Phones” section, in fact, now shows the Pixel 3, Buds, Stand, and other associated accessories but the Pixel 2 is nowhere to be found. The only place where the device is still mentioned is under the "Find the right Pixel for you" section, which seems to be there for comparison purpose only.
The reason behind taking the older version of Pixel phones off the store shelves is unknown but seems like, Google wants its buyers to consider purchasing the newest Pixel 3 devices over the predecessors. Also, Google is expected to launch the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL devices, so discontinuation may come as a wake of the imminent launch of new products.
Third-party retailers still sell the phone, though. So, in case you were planning to go for the second-gen Pixel devices, you can still go for them using other retailers’ links. One such best option to choose from is Best Buy which is still selling it.
The software support for the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL, however, will still last one more year, given that they were launched in October 2017.
Reportedly, the Pixel 2 series have gone from Indian site as well, only the accessories are available, though. And adding the address of the Pixel 2 product will navigate you to the Pixel 3 devices. You can also find third-party retailers who are still selling the Pixel 2 devices in India; Flipkart has still listed it but only Black color.
