Huawei’s 40W SuperCharge Power Bank sales to start next week

Huawei had unveiled the P30 series last month, and at the time the company had also unveiled the 12000 mAh 40W SuperCharge power bank.

The power bank comes with two-way fast charging. At the time of the unveiling, the company had not revealed when the power bank will be available for sale. Bruce Lee, the Vice President of Handset Business at Huawei Consumer Business Group has now confirmed that the 40W power Bank sales will begin next week.

The new Power Bank is compatible with a number of devices including accessories and some Apple products. Bruce Lee had stated recently on the social networking platform Weibo that the power bank could charge the Huawei Matebook with a data cable.

It will also charge the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Honor Magic 2 and P30 series at 40W. the power bank can SuperCharge 70% of Huawei P30 Pro’s 4200 mAh battery in just 30 minutes. With 40W charging support, it can fully charge in 2 hours and 14 minutes.

The device has two USB ports – USB-A for 40W charging and USB-C for Quick Charging non-Huawei devices. Users can also plug in their MacBooks and other Laptops to charge using USB Type-C PD charging. It has four LED charge indicators and a button to check charge status. The power bank has sleek dimensions of 135.4 mm x 69 mm x 15.5 mm and weighs just 227 grams. It will be available in White and Blue colours for the price of 99 Euros (US$ 111 / 749 Yuan approx.) from April 11th.
