Huawei’s upcoming device Y5 2019 which appears to be a mid-range device is surfaced on the Google Play Developer Console’s Device Catalog. Now, the listing of the device not only confirms the name but also reveals the key specifications and tells us what to expect. Together with this, the device render has also been shown and looking at this, you could tell the phone is featuring a waterdrop notch to house the front camera. There’s also a sizeable bezel on the bottom that shows the name of the brand.
The phone is listed with a display resolution of 1520 x 720 and a DPI of 320. The phone is sporting the MediaTek MT6761 SoC which is more commonly known as the MediaTek Helio A22.
Also, one more leak on the device has surfaced that take the wraps off the remaining specs and appearance. It reveals the screen size of the device which is 5.71-inch. The rear panel with a faux leather finish is also visible that shows the device is holding a single camera with an LED flash placed just below in one module. According to the leak, the device has a 13MP rear camera and it will rely on Face Unlock due to the absence of fingerprint scanner.
It’s currently unknown when this device will be out but looking at its listing, it appears the launch isn’t too far.
