While there are rumors on the upcoming 4th-gen Pixel phones, there are equal speculations for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL phones too. Well, it’s unknown, when these speculated devices will get launched, but we proceed with what we have without complaining about the things which we don’t have.
Now, a few alleged case renders of the Pixel 3a and 3a XL have surfaced that show what these devices hold and how do they look. These case renders shared by a Slashleaks contributor show a design which is quite similar to the Pixel 3. There’s dual tone finish on the rear panel, thick bezels and the positioning of the fingerprint sensors is also the same. However, there are a few noticeable changes as well and the prominent one is the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top edge, flanked by the SIM card slot. This means Google is bringing back the headphone jack because Pixel 3 duo lacked it.
The alleged renders show bottom-firing speakers on the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL, for comparison, the Pixel 3 had it on the front. Also, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL have a single front-facing camera.
Going by the previously arrived traces, the Pixel 3a will hold a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels, 4GB RAM, and according to Geekbench, it could hold Snapdragon 625 SoC. The Pixel 3a XL, on the other hand, has a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2220 pixels, and will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 670 processor.
