Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei has lost phone, so what? Well, read it this way, Honor has lost a prototype of an unannounced phone. Becomes interesting? Absolutely! You might have read the incident of an engineer who lost a pre-production iPhone 4 unit and this Honor’s loss story is no different. A poor Honor employee in Germany lost a smartphone prototype while traveling on Deutsche Bahn Intercity-Express trip. And, Honor has set reward money for anyone who might be able to return the lost device to the company.
Honor will offer a reward of 5,000 euros to anyone who would make a safe return of its unreleased phone. Anyone who might be able to help is encouraged to contact Honor Germany or Deutsche Bahn customer service.
It’s unknown what this device could be or how it may look but considering the reward money, it seems the device is very near to the company and it is set to release sometime in the near future. It’s unlikely that the lost device is Honor 20 as the smartphone has been leaked several times already and it’s already launching on May 21 and the device, of course, would have crossed its prototyping stage.
Honor has put details so that people could recognize the device, according to its tweet, the prototype is in a gray protective case which conspicuously disguises the camera with a cover.
The hunt is still on and at the time of writing, no one has claimed the device yet.
