The release of iOS 12.3 was quickly followed by the beta testing of the very first builds of iOS 12.4, tvOS 12.4, watchOS 5.3 and macOS 10.14.6. Apple has finally released these builds for developer testing purposes. The beta builds are available for developers through the usual manner of upgrade. This is through either an over-the-air upgrade or through the Apple Developer Center.
As is the norm, public beta variants of these new builds may be just around the corner. As of now, it’s too early to say what users can expect from these latest beta builds. However, in a few days, after the issue of the release notes and testing of these builds, users will get a clear idea of new additions and changes contained in the latest software update.
It’s advisable for users not to try out the beta version of 12.4 on any of their primary devices. Beta builds are usually builds which are rolled out by manufacturers only for testing purposes. As such they may have a ton of bugs and may interrupt with the everyday functionality of a device.
