Xiaomi shouted out loud and stated its direct opinion on the newly-launched OnePlus 7 by teasing the arrival of its upcoming smartphone from Redmi. Calling its device a Flagship Killer 2.0, the company somewhat confirmed the name of the device which may be called as the Redmi K20. Well, just like the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, Redmi is expected to launch the K20 and the K20 Pro. Very little is known when it comes to the K20 Pro but going by some leaked specs, it's believed that K20 holds the triple rear cameras, so imagine its Pro version with some ramped up specs.
Well moving on, a bunch of cases of alleged K20 has leaked and appeared on Slashleaks. A large camera cutout on the back reflects the device include triple rear cameras. But the mentioned name is K20, not the K20 Pro as speculated.
It’s currently unknown, on what basis these two phones will differ but we do expect something similar to OnePlus’ most recent offerings for direct fierce competition. Nothing much can be obtained from these leaked cases but we do have something more to add here and it’s the AnTuTu result of the K20 that has popped up.
Brand’s General Manager Lu Weibing is putting more details about the device through his Weibo post. He shared a screenshot that shows the nickname of the device - Demon King and AnTuTu score – 458,754 points. This highest score indicates the phone may include UFS 3.0 storage, something that OnePlus 7 phones also offer and superior cooling technology as well.
The Redmi K20 is expected to hold a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The K20 is expected to hold 48MP main camera which will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and 16MP telephoto lens.
In other related news, an alleged camera sample of the Redmi K20 Pro has appeared. Sun Changxu, a partner of Xiaomi Industry Investment Department, released an image on Weibo which comes with the watermark “Redmi K20 Pro..AI Triple Camera.” This directly confirms the K20 Pro has triple rear cameras. There have been some wide speculations that this smartphone could be the Poco F2 but the current image has proved the existence of the K20 Pro rather.
