It has only been a short while since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series of smartphones and a leak has surfaced regarding the Samsung Galaxy S11. Courtesy of a leakster named Ice Universe, we now have the codename for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11. The leakster has been right in the past and took to Twitter to reveal that the internal codename for the Galaxy S11 is ‘Picasso’.

This doesn’t seem odd at all. In fact, the codename for the S11 actually seems to be in line with the company’s naming approach. To refresh your memory, the codename for the S8 was Dream, for the S9 was Star, the S10 bore the codename beyond and the Note 10 was called Da Vinci. It seems like Samsung is sticking to this naming approach by calling its S11 Picasso.
Given the release cycle of Samsung’s top-end smartphones, the Galaxy S11 is rumoured to make its very first retail appearance somewhere in the first quarter of 2020. In all likelihood, the device would launch in February. This is just before the MWC in Spain. Let’s hope that the Galaxy S11 is a revolutionary step up from the Galaxy S10.
