Over the past few months, Xiaomi and ads have become synonymous. Many users have enjoyed MIUI over the past few years but of late, users have resisted adopting MIUI as their choice of Android OS. This is mainly due to the addition of advertisements to MIUI. While this is here to stay, the company claims that the best it can do is optimize the way the ads work.
On the bright side, in an attempt to improve the user experience on MIUI, the CEO and co-founder of Xiaomi promises to remove inappropriate ads. In addition to this, the number of ads which pop up Xiaomi will also be reduced. This was also corroborated by the General Manager for the Internet Services for Xiaomi. Xiaomi is going to be using an algorithm to ensure that its ads reach a wide audience while at the same time only showing relevant ads. Its main aim as of now when it comes to advertisements is to optimise them in order to keep its customers happy.
