Huawei gets another blow as Vodafone drops 5G phone deal

The United States recently banned the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer to make any deals with the U.S based companies. This news came as a major threat to the Chinese tech manufacturer which would seriously threaten its business not only in the U.S but globally considering the impact of working with manufacturers in the U.S.


This development meant that Huawei would no longer be able to use Google, Intel, and Qualcomm products. In the latest development under similar news, Vodafone has also dropped the partnership with Huawei to launch 5G phones in the United Kingdom give the Chinese company another major blow, one after another. While the impact and severity of this ban would surely be long lasting, the Chinese manufacturer does have a plan B especially in regards to an alternative to the mobile operating system.

Vodafone’s spokesperson said in a statement that, “We are pausing pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20X (5G) in the UK,” and also “We are pausing pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20X (5G) in the UK,” What do you think about this? As the US ban is fresh, Huawei should expect such blows to come their way in the next few days to come. Cannot expect things to pause after the major news 2 days back.
