Rumors about Meizu’s upcoming phone have been making the rounds for a while now. The company is expected to launch the Meizu 16Xs smartphone on May 30, 2019. A number of rumors about the upcoming device have been making the rounds for a while now, and now a Meizu product manager has posted a teaser of Flyme 8 on Weibo. However, the product manager has now deleted the poster.
The teaser hints at the upcoming launch of the Flyme 8 UI, which could make an appearance along with the Meizu 16 Xs on May 30th. We will have to wait and see for a couple of days till the phone’s launch whether the UI will be launched along with the phone. The launch of the new UI will create a lot of excitement for Meizu fans and it makes sense for the company to launch a new UI with a new phone. Other smartphone makers like Google, Xiaomi and others have also been doing it.
The Meizu 16Xs is expected to have a notch less display and a 6.2 inches AMOLED screen. The phone has a full HD plus resolution with 1080 x 2232 pixels resolution. It has an in-display fingerprint reader and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. The phone may have a 48 MP triple rear camera setup.
Under the hood, the phone will have a Snapdragon 710 or even Snapdragon 675 Soc. We will know more about the upcoming phone and UI in just a couple of days! So, stay tuned.
