Nubia Red Magic 3 survives durability test even after getting some scars

03 June 2019 0

Nubia Red Magic 3 is the latest smartphone in the mobile gaming sector that includes many game-specific features, including the 90Hz display and an actual internal cooling fan, just like you see in most of the laptops. Plus, what’s make this device more interesting is it can record videos in 8K for under $500. It includes a long customizable LED bar on the back which just amplifies its beauty.

Gaming phones should include great strength and endurance power so as to sustain for longer use. Today, manufacturers making gaming phones take care of these aspects; while making their phones powerful from inside they also make them rugged for rough usage. And, Red Magic 3 phone from Nubia is no different. It has a bold yet beautiful look along with several first-rate innards.

While there are many ways to check the performance of the device, there are quite a few ones when it comes to testing their endurance towards any potential drops. Zack Nelson from JerryRigEverything has now come up with a durability video for the Red Magic 3. As usual, the brutality starts from the scratch test.

Using the Mohs scale of hardness scratch test, the Nubia Red Magic 3 started showing scratches at level 6 as most of the smartphones. Sides get scratches too as they are made of metal; the front camera is covered with the same glass which covers the display. On the back, the fingerprint scanner in hexagonal shape also gets the scratches but it was still functioning. Coming to the burn test, the display started showing the signs of burn after 20 seconds and leaves a permanent white mark in the middle of the screen. But everything was just fine. In the bend test, the sound of the display popping out can be heard, but still, the phone was working fine.

According to Zack, at this price, the device is a steal as it survives his durability test. Watch the video and share your thoughts using the comments section provided below.
