Huawei is getting ready to launch its one more 5G smartphone and according to a spotted slide from a 5G conference held in Russia, this could be the one from Mate series. The presented slide, typically, notes the three phones of Huawei which are 5G capable – Mate 20 X, Mate X foldable phone, and a yet-to-name device from Mate series, which we guess it to be the upcoming Mate 30.
The slide shows that the alleged Mate 30 device will launch in December 2019, which means we may see its 4G variant coming to us a tad sooner, like around October.
Also, note that this timeframe is specific to the Russian market, which means, it will arrive in other countries in early next year. But, it’s good to note that the device will, at least, debut this year.
Talking about the other two phones talked about at the conference. The Mate X should be out in September, but it’s expected that Samsung may also unveil a new style foldable even before Huawei could. The Mate X was supposed to come out sooner but Huawei wanted to be double sure before releasing it to the market.
Earlier last month, Huawei announced that it has signed a deal to develop 5G networks for Russia. The aim is to launch connected devices, including robots, self-driving cars among others. Smartphones are a vital part of 5G applications and the conference has indicated how Huawei is pulling this deal.
Some black clouds were hovering over Huawei for a long time, but it managed to come out stronger. During the ban, Huawei wasn’t sitting idle, in fact, it prepared itself for any worst consequence, whatsoever. The Chinese giant didn’t take a pause and it was continuously making strides and announcing new plans for the future. It was good to note that Russia didn’t bother about the US ban that Huawei went through and ready to ink a deal with the company.
