Samsung has officially announced the launch date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event where it’s likely to launch a you-know-what device. Yes, Samsung typically launches its new Galaxy Note series in August and this time as well, we would see a new Galaxy Note getting unveiled.
Samsung’s media invites and the official announcement don’t explicitly reveal the name of the device, of course, but referring so many leaks and speculations, this could be the Galaxy Note 10.
Samsung’s official announcement reads, "Samsung Electronics will unveil new devices designed to take the Galaxy ecosystem’s connectivity to the next level." This also means we may see more devices getting launched aside from just the Galaxy Note 10 at the event.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on August 7. The event will also be live streamed and Samsung has also provided the links following which you can watch the live event.
On its page where the company has officially made the announcement, a small gif can also be seen. It shows the S Pen which is drawing a camera lens. We can’t comment on what does it actually refer to but it appears that stylus may gain some more powers to control the camera. Last year, Samsung via its Galaxy Note 9 made it possible to click pictures remotely using a stylus.
Samsung may announce the release date for the Galaxy Home, which was last said to be coming in April but still hasn’t arrived. Samsung has already confirmed that the delay of Galaxy Fold wouldn’t affect the Note series launch but it’s possible we may hear something about the foldable device at the event as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is likely to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset and feature Quad HD+ (Infinity-O AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. Its camera is expected to feature a three-stage variable aperture for better and crisp photography. There are mixed speculations on its fast-charging tech, a few report 25W and others also say an all-new 45W fast-charging tech. Well, we are just a few days away from the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 to clear out any doubts on the specifications.
