Alleged Huawei Mate 30 Pro rear camera module gets highlighted in a leaked image

04 July 2019 0

Huawei appears to be working on its new Mate series that it will unveil later this year. Not much is known about the device but some leaks have surfaced to tell us, at least, what to expect from it. One thing is clear that the alleged Mate 30 will include multiple cameras and focus on camera enhancements as well just like the P30 series.

Now a new leak has surfaced which is predominantly highlighting the camera module of the alleged Mate 30 Pro. The image shows a circular camera module which is holding four cameras and an LED flash. All these components are making an “X” shape which is a quite different arrangement from others. The image reveals that the phone will be equipped with Leica engineered SUMMILUX-H lens and it will offer 5x optical zoom. The camera specifications of the device are unknown for now but we do expect to learn about them soon.

There’s one more picture in which the display panels of the Mate 30 Pro device have been shown. The top bezel of the phone is blurred in the image so we are unable to tell if it has a notch or a mere punch hole. But you can see that the display is curved towards the left and right edges.

Note that last year Mate 20 came with a waterdrop notch whereas its Pro variant showcased a wider notch on its display. The wide notch on the Mate 20 Pro housed several complex sensors for 3D face recognition. Coming to the Mate 30 Pro, there have been rumors that the device won’t feature the 3D face unlock. So, we believe that now even the Pro variant will sport a waterdrop notch or a center positioned punch-hole like the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 smartphone.
