Apple will soon update its most affordable MacBook Pro, well this looks evident from a recent FCC filing which has, however, now been removed. But some keenly-eyed guys managed to get a glimpse and screenshot as well. The FCC documentation refers to model number A2159, which lines up with MacBook-related filings Apple made with EEC last month.
The documentation shows the device includes a 13-inch display and has the same dimensions as the current 13-inch MacBook Pro model. This means Apple is planning to launch a new MacBook Pro model but without the Touch Bar because one with this tool has recently been upgraded. The regulatory label also confirms that this machine matches the power rating of the existing 13-inch MacBook Pro.
A report appeared last month also said that Apple is planning a new MacBookPro model with upgraded processors as well as recently unveiled macOS Catalina. The insights shared by Jeff Lin, a IHS Market analyst in the report also stated that Apple will launch the refreshed models in this fall which is around September. Well, the FCC listing has made it more transparent that the launch could happen anytime soon.
Additionally, Apple is also reported to launch a new 16-inch MacBook Pro model as well. It could feature an LG LCD display panel with 3072 x 1920 pixels resolution.
