Apart from just the new phablet in its pipeline, Samsung, of course, has more things to add to its portfolio and that too this year only. The Galaxy Note 10 series is launching in August but the South Korean company has more products in the plan to launch soon and according to the latest leak, these are wearable and tablets.
The site CashKaro refers to Samsung’s roadmap which it supposedly obtained to reveal what other new products are in the works and when will they be launched. The tech site claims to have gotten its hands on Samsung’s roadmap from a “highly placed source in the mobile industry,” and this statement, of course, does add weight to this leak.
The alleged roadmap shows that the company has Galaxy Book 3 and the Galaxy Tab S5 to launch in Q3 of this year. Furthermore, the roadmap also shows the Q3 release date for the watch which appears to be the successor to the Galaxy Watch Active. There are several rumors on this watch already that tell what to expect or what changes Samsung is making this time.
Talking about the tablets, the Galaxy Tab S5 is said to be the company’s spin on the iPad. It could come with a Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 512GB storage. This means it could come as one of the most premium Android tablets that you could buy. Coming to the Book 3, it’s likely a Windows convertible, which could also feature Snapdragon 850 CPU but come with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It may pack a 12-inch AMOLED display as well as an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Our best guess is, Samsung could choose the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event to launch these new tablets and watch alongside the Galaxy Note 10 series as well.
