Apple has released the seventh beta of iOS 12.4, the sixth beta of watchOS 5.3, and the fourth beta of macOS 10.15 Catalina to the developers. The seventh iOS 12.4 build is number 16G5077a, replacing sixth build 16G5069a. The sixth beta for watchOS 5.3 is number 16U5569a, up from the fifth build 16U5566a. Also, this is the fifth beta of the macOS 10.15 Catalina for the developers.
There aren’t any significant changes or features reported, but expect to see some performance improvements as there must be bug fixes included in the update.
The new builds can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center, given that you’ve participated in the testing program. They can also be installed via over-the-air updates for the devices which are already using earlier beta builds.
Apple highly recommends installing the new builds on a secondary device and not on to “mission-critical” or primary devices, due to the potential data loss or other issues.
Earlier this week, Apple also posted the fifth developer beta build of macOS 10.14.6. And, the third beta of macOS 10.15 Catalina arrives two weeks after the third developer beta. Apple will launch the furnished versions of the operating systems to the users this fall.
