In the middle of the leaks of this year’s iPhone models, comes a report on the next year’s iPhones. Well, this isn’t the first time we are hearing something about iPhone 2020 models, in fact, the speculations are going on side by side for both the set.
Now, according to a tipster Ice Universe who particularly serves Samsung’s leaks has shared something interesting about the iPhone 2020 models. According to its tweet, Apple is considering a switchable 60Hz/120Hz refresh rate screen on the iPhone in 2020. The tip also states that Apple is in talks with Samsung and even LG and discussing using this new switchable refresh rate screens.
This means the displays of iPhones 2020 may come with the same level of responsiveness as the iPad Pro. It’s worth noting that Samsung and LG are the OLED suppliers for the iPhone XS and XS Max. And, next year, Apple is also expected to go all OLED for its iPhones, so we will see iPad Pro’s ProMotion tech getting introduced on the OLED panels for the first time because of the tablets from Apple still use LCD screens.
Another drastic change expected to come in iPhone 2020 is the little to almost no notch on the OLED screens. Also, a seven-piece lens system on the rear camera may arrive. Apple may bring two 5G models and the third is going to have an LTE support. A report even stated that Apple has a China-exclusive model that switches out Face ID for Touch ID.
