Samsung launched its first 64MP ISOCELL image sensor back in May for mobile cameras and since then we are hearing a couple of names that claim to be using it for their upcoming smartphones. Well, the first name appeared in the tech industry is Redmi from Xiaomi and another is its rival Realme from Oppo. And, it appears that the two Chinese companies are competing fiercely to become the first in the industry to launch a smartphone with such a massive MP camera.
First, it was Realme which shared a camera sample taken with Samsung’s 64MP image sensor and now Redmi has come up to tease what its 64MP camera phone is capable of. The teaser includes the camera sample that shows a snap of a cat and the inset shows the zoomed-in eye of the cat, highlighting the phone is capturing even the minute detail and that quite crisply.
No other details on the device have been shared yet but it’s good to note that Redmi is preparing its one more flagship killer for its followers and tech enthusiasts. Xiaomi recently brought its Redmi K20 Pro phone in India as a flagship killer.
Well, there’s always a rush to become the first in the first things and this race is no different. But it’s always interesting to note who comes first and takes the title of becoming the world’s first brand of launching the 64MP camera phone.
