Realme has officially announced that it’s conducting a camera innovation event where it will launch the world’s first 64MP quad-camera tech. According to what is shown in the teaser poster, the event will be commenced on August 8 in New Delhi, India.

The teaser shows quad-camera setup in highlight and no further details associated with it have been shared. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth shared a shot taken with the 64MP AI quad-camera phone back in June. It was then believed that it will be Realme that will become the first brand to launch a phone with Samsung’s latest 64MP camera tech.

Redmi is also speculated to become the first to use Samsung 64MP camera sensor. So, it’s yet to be seen which brand becomes the first in the first things in this mobile camera industry. But one thing is clear, Realme is already showcasing something on August 8 before its competition Xiaomi.

Realme’s followers are excited and want to learn more about this camera tech. Realme may not unveil the phone utilizing this camera sensor as the event is more about the next-generation camera technology.

Realme is still a new player in the company but it has managed to carve its name on the list of top 10 global OEMs, according to a report from Counterpoint for Q2 2019. Realme achieved this big feat in just one year and it’s indeed commendable. Realme launches impressive-specced phones at budget price tags and this strategy is taking the brand to reach a new height.

And, now with the use of 64MP camera tech, Realme is ready to achieve a new milestone in its long journey. Let’s wait to see what else the brand will bring before the launch event.
