Redmi confirms to launch its first 64MP camera phone soon, details out

Redmi has a 64MP camera phone to launch soon and this has been confirmed by Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP at Xiaomi and MD Xiaomi India via a couple of his tweets. After Realme announced that it will unveil the 64MP camera tech at an event on August 8, Xiaomi took no time to announce that it has something to announce that will surely make the future of camera tech.

Today, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the camera tech with the 64MP ISOCELL sensor will soon be launched. However, note that Xiaomi doesn’t claim to become the first in the race but does confirm that Redmi will be one of the 1st brands in the world to launch a class-leading 64MP camera. This indicates that Realme may become the first to launch a smartphone carrying this tech.

Well moving on, Redmi India has shared a few details on the 64MP camera which it likes to call and address #FutureofCamera on social media. The Redmi 64MP camera has a large 1/1.7-inch sensor with ISOCELL Plus that aims to improve the color reproduction. It also has Smart ISO and Hybrid 3D HDR, which is hardware-enabled HDR. The new 64MP camera sensor packs in 38% more pixels than 48MP camera. Redmi India claims the device will be able to click photos that are brighter, vibrant, and more detailed than ever before.

The name of the Redmi device which will eventually feature this new and powerful camera tech is unknown. On the contrary, Realme appears to have already decided which new phone will embrace the new camera tech.

Xiaomi hasn’t yet announced the name of the device and when it will exactly come. But, at least, we got to know that such a device has an existence.
