Xiaomi to launch 34-inch QHD+ curved e-Sports monitor with 144Hz refresh rate | Report

Xiaomi is reportedly planning to launch a specific TV model which supposedly will let you watch sports and play games as well. Report coming from IHS Markit claims that Xiaomi has a new monitor for e-Sports and it could launch in November this year. This will be a curved monitor with a 34-inch screen having QHD+ resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio.

The report also adds that the display will come with a 144Hz refresh rate which means it will be very suitable for playing games. There isn’t much matter available on the same but the report does reflect that Xiaomi is gearing up to attract more and more gaming enthusiasts.

From what is available, it can be concluded that products are being built to cater to a specific niche. The latest in the speculation, which is e-Sports monitor from Xiaomi seems to be a product of the same idea. The gaming sector is on the rise and it has already influenced one of the dominated segment of the tech world which is Smartphones. More and more manufacturers are investing in mobile gaming by launching gaming smartphones and the interest is impacting other major consumer products as well.

Xiaomi launches gaming smartphones via its subsidiary Black Shark. Recently, it also launched an upgraded Gaming Laptop powered by the latest 9th-generation Intel processors with up to 16GB RAM. And, now a new monitor is also going to contribute to the gaming sector.

Currently, it's unknown how this curved monitor will look like. We may soon hear more about this e-Sports monitor from Xiaomi since the reported launch is still at quite a distance from us.
