Samsung Galaxy Fold pre-registrations now open for the US and UK

02 September 2019 0

Samsung Galaxy Fold has taken one more step towards its re-launch and it should bring joy to the face of its followers. Last week the company re-opened the pre-registrations in China and now it has opened them for the interested buyers in the US and the UK. Note that you still can’t pre-order Galaxy Fold but can register to get the updates on the same.

The price tags of the Galaxy Fold units are listed, however, so to let the interested buyers know how much it will cost them if they plan to buy. It was reported that Samsung has made some changes here and there to prevent any damage to the device. The improvements have been made to the design but the price is unchanged which is $1980.

According to Samsung US, the Galaxy Fold will be available for purchase from at least two carriers, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It will come in three color options – Gold Hinge, Dark Silver Hinge, and Black Hinge. Interesting, when trying to register on the US webpage, a message pops-up that states: “Galaxy Fold is in high demand. Please share your information to receive access to limited supplies when available.” This alludes that many users have pre-registered for the same and shown interest in knowing more about the device.

Samsung Galaxy Fold pre-registrations have also been opened in the UK as well. According to the previous information Galaxy Fold will first land in South Korea, and then it will launch in the US, UK and the rest of the countries.

Note that a recent report from a South Korean publication mentioned that the Galaxy Fold will be launched on the market on September 6. This could mean we may see the device getting re-launched at IFA event in Berlin.
