T-Mobile may have discontinued the OnePlus 7 Pro already

01 October 2019 0

The OnePlus 7T is yet to hit the shelves of the US but a major carrier appears to have already discontinued the OnePlus 7 Pro that was launched back in May. Knowing the fact that the OnePlus 7 Pro is still the latest in the tech town, it’s surprising to learn that T-Mobile has discontinued it already.

Reportedly, the OnePlus 7 Pro is neither available on T-Mobile’s website nor it’s available via the official T-Mobile app. The tech site Phonearena contacted T-Mobile support and got confirmed that the carrier “no longer has” the OnePlus 7 Pro. While this doesn’t directly mean the device has been discontinued, the news does come as a shocker. So, let’s just wait for the reason behind the same.

What makes this more interesting is the fact that the OnePlus 7T is still more than two weeks away from its release on T-Mobile and the carrier no longer has the Pro model of the OnePlus 7 with it. Secondly, the OnePlus 7T isn’t the direct successor of the OnePlus 7 Pro, so why the discontinuation has occurred?

Meanwhile, T-Mobile continues to sell old OnePlus 6T for $500.

OnePlus didn’t launch the OnePlus 7 in the US but it’s launching the OnePlus 7T rather. The latest offering from OnePlus holds better specs than the OnePlus 7 but it may not be as exquisite as OnePlus 7 Pro.

Let’s wait for the reason of discontinuation of the OnePlus 7 Pro by T-Mobile.
