OnePlus 7T has received its very first update that brings some notable changes to the device. This is OxygenOS 10.0.3 update that will be available to the buyers as soon as they take the device out of the box.
The update improves photo quality, however, OnePlus doesn’t particularly mention what segment gets the improvement. In some early camera reviews, we have seen some oversaturated results, so it's expected the update may fix this and enhance the overall photo quality.
Also, the first update to OnePlus 7T brings enhanced stability of the camera. This might come as a fix for the issue with the telephoto lens. Taking reference to several reviews, it appears the telephoto lens requires a pretty steady hand because of the lack of OIS. So, the enhanced stability of the camera is expected to work in this area. OnePlus has also made some user experience improvements under the camera.
Apart from these significant changes, OnePlus 7T OxygenOS 10.0.3 also brings general bug fixes and improvements.
This is an incremental OTA and will take some time to reach every OnePlus 7T device. The rollout will reach a small percentage of users first and the broader rollout will happen in a few days.
Note that some frequency camera updates for the OnePlus 7 Pro have brought major camera quality improvement over time. And, we also expected that the OnePlus 7T also gains some improvements in this area.
