OnePlus appears to have more surprises to bring in soon to its followers. The OnePlus 7T arrived just last month and if rumors are to be believed, the company has its Pro model in the launch pipeline as well. Furthermore, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus has teased an image that shows a box with a carbon fiber pattern and orange stripe. This reflects that the company may have a McLaren Edition device on the way which could be the variant of the OnePlus 7T.
The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T gained a good response, thanks to some superior and unique features it came with. It was the super-fast 30W wired charging that kept it away from others. Now, OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is expected to gain some special treatment as well.
For the OnePlus 7T, the company has already bundled the Warp Charge 30T which is 23% faster, so the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is unlikely to gain any new super-fast charging. It’s believed that the special edition will feature only cosmetic changes but we would like to see some maxed-out specs too that could further define the device’s existence.
OnePlus 7T Pro leaks started appearing when it was rumored that OnePlus 7T is on the way. Two differently-designed phones from OnePlus started making the rounds after the launch of the OnePlus 7 series, so it was guessable that we will see the OnePlus 7T series pretty soon as well.
The OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to go official with a pop-up selfie camera and vertically-positioned triple rear cameras. The display will have better display resolution and bigger battery capacity as well.
It’s speculated that the OnePlus 7T Pro could go official in India on October 10.
