OnePlus 8 Pro early renders show quad cameras and other changes coming next year

18 October 2019 0

No recent smartphone launch could snatch the limelight made by the appearance of an upcoming smartphone from the same company. No matter how much the latest device appeals to you, there’s always a replacement for it coming shortly because upgrades you know! But recent launches have their own virtues, which is their availability. Well moving on, let’s welcome some very early OnePlus 8 Pro renders coming from the reliable tipster @OnLeaks in association with 91Mobiles.

The renders offer the full-fledged look of the alleged device and you can watch it from every angle and note what changes the company is bringing next year. As it’s quite visible from the images, the back of the alleged OnePlus 8 Pro has a total of four cameras, not three as appeared in the renders of the OnePlus 8. The fourth camera is a 3D ToF camera which is a depth-sensing lens for 3D photography, AR, portrait mode images, and more. Three cameras are aligned vertically and the fourth sensor is placed right beside this module.

On the front, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a single punch-hole for housing the selfie camera. It has a curved screen just like we saw in the OnePlus 8 renders. The Alert Slider and Power button are placed on the right edge, while the volume rocker stays on the left. The USB Type-C port is placed at the bottom and in the middle.

Compared to its standard model, the OnePlus 8 Pro is going to have some upgrades apart from just the fourth camera. Expect to see larger screen size and battery capacity as well. The tech site also reveals some key specs of the device, including the 6.65-inch screen size, 90Hz refresh rate. Also, the OnePlus 8 will measure 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8mm in size.

It’s expected that a variant of the OnePlus 8 Pro could come with 5G support for the markets where 5G has gone live already.

There’s no word on price and availability yet because it’s too early to get insights on it. OnePlus launches its first device every year in May, so expect to see the OnePlus 8 series getting launched in the same timeframe.

The OnePlus 8 Pro isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
