Galaxy Home smart speaker hasn’t yet made its availability in the market and Samsung is already showing off the mini version of it to the attendees of the Developers Conference. It was expected Samsung would announce the release of the Galaxy Home but it didn’t happen. Samsung chose to display its Home Mini version rather than introducing it officially.
Now Samsung has put a statement forward that does address the release of the Galaxy Home but does not reveal the actual timeframe. The South Korean tech giant told this to SamMobile:
“The smart speaker plays an integral role in Samsung’s vision to make lives simpler and more convenient through the Internet of Things (IoT). Through a beta test program for Galaxy Home and Galaxy Home Mini, we have listened to valuable feedback from consumers and are now in the process of evaluating the results of the beta test. We will look forward to sharing more details on the product availability soon.”
It is great to note about the potential release of the Galaxy Home but we still don’t have any concrete release date. The beta testing program, however, is a great hint that the launch is not too far.
Currently, customers have other options to look for if they want any smart home speaker. Google Home and Alexa smart speaker are some of the top players in the market you may want to invest in. Or if you are a true Samsung fan then you may want to wait for its first-ever virtual assistant-powered speaker.
