OnePlus must be working on its upcoming products, among which the OnePlus 8, a successor to the OnePlus 7 must be the one. And, some leaks are already making us believe that the device does exist and has been into the works. However, no leak should be taken too seriously until you find something weighty to rely on. Well moving on, we don’t have anything considerate this time as well, but the new leak may help you in curbing your curiosity.
The tech site True-Tech is tipped with a PDF that includes the product design of the alleged OnePlus 8 Pro. The diagram puts forward some interesting details, including the four cameras on the back and a new punch-hole design on the front. There are no other details accompanying the design, so we are left with analyzing this diagram.
As you would see, the diagram shows two designs of the front panel, one showing a single punch-hole and another showing the dual punch-hole for carrying two selfie cameras. While the back panel looks similar to the renders provided by the prolific tipster @OnLeaks, it is the front panel that confuses us a bit. The smartphone carries four rear cameras where three of them are housed inside one vertically-aligned module, the fourth one stays outside and this is believed to be the ToF sensor.
The renders showed the OnePlus 8 Pro could carry a single punch-hole camera but this diagram has changed our perception. However, an alleged real-life image of the OnePlus 8 did come out with dual punch-hole cameras, but we paid little to no attention to it, since we do need more substantial proof.
The latest leak is no different, this is a product design and has enough possibility to get changed in the near future. But seeing both the front panel designs, we believe it could be the OnePlus 8T Pro holding a dual punch-hole display. This is just a hunch and we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
