Nokia Smart TV first alleged glimpse confirms a couple of features

25 November 2019 0

Flipkart is reportedly all set to launch the first-ever Nokia-branded Smart TV in India and going by the latest tip, it could launch as early as December. Previously, Flipkart just announced its strategic partnership with Nokia without delving much into the details, though it also disclosed that JBL will have a primal role.

Now, some key details of this unnamed Nokia-branded TV from Flipkart have surfaced via Digit. The tech site also claims to have obtained a couple of images which appear no lesser than the glimpses of this upcoming TV. One of these glimpses confirms the sound output from the TV will be handled by JBL sound system speakers. This wasn’t a mystery as Flipkart itself announced it before.

The second leaked glimpse shows a top left of the TV, highlighting the TV has a negligible bezel. Digit claims Flipkart has confirmed to them that the TV will come with features like Clear Vocal Tones and Minimal Harmonic Distortion. JBL speakers have an established name in providing an unmatched sound quality and they are known for superior fidelity, so we expect the Nokia TV to retain that essence.

It is already known that Nokia-branded TV will also bring Dolby Audio & DTS TruSound Sound which is said to enhance the TV viewing experience. With the help of the Dolby Audio & DTS TruSurround, the TV will be able to decode high fidelity audio and play it from the TVs JBL powered speakers. According to the site, the TV is launching as a Flipkart Unique product in early December.

As tipped, the next month’s launch is quite near and we expect to hear more about it sooner.
