The very-prominent designer Sir Jonathan Ive appears to have left Apple as the executive leadership page no longer enlists his name. Back in June, Apple announced that Ive will leave the company by the end of this year to form his own firm called LoveFrom and it seems like it is finally happening.
Since Apple had already announced this in summers, the following action may not require any observation.
Ive spent 30 glorious years at Apple where he gave some unforgettable designs to the company’s products. Ive with his product designing skills helped in making some iconic devices of Apple iconic. These include iMac G3, the iPod, and the iPhone as well.
Apple announced in June that it will be one of the primary clients of the firm. LoveFrom is being developed in collaboration with Ive’s long-time friend and collaborator Marc Newson.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said at the time,
Apple will continue to benefit from Jony’s talents by working directly with him on exclusive projects, and through the ongoing work of the brilliant and passionate design team, he has built. Software and hardware design is now the responsibility of COO Jeff Williams.
Together with Newson, Ive have made some great products, including the Apple Watch.
