OnePlus has "2020 Screen Technology" to launch on January 13

09 January 2020 0

OnePlus has just done showcasing its first concept phone called the Concept One at the biggest tech show of the world. The phone has gathered much appreciation due to the interesting tech behind this. The phone is just a concept now and it is not taking the shape of the reality anytime soon, though the company would want to launch it in the future.

Well, such projects keep the company motivated and help it to bring more to the table. Now, reportedly, the Chinese company has more to showcase and it is ready to unveil it this month only. This shows the company is starting the New Year with a blast and it plans to bring more interesting stuff throughout the year.

OnePlus has reportedly sent out media invites for an event it has scheduled for January 13th. The invite titled “OnePlus 2020 Screen Technology Communication Meeting” is self-explanatory, though it is unknown what could be the exact technology.

The event will be held in Shenzhen, China and the company leaves no traces behind that could tell us what to expect. It is speculated that the company would talk about the next major asset of the display which is 120Hz refresh rate for an even better navigation experience. So, if our idea is correct, OnePlus will only bring this to its upcoming flagship phone.

The silhouette of the display panel showed in the media invite hints at nothing particular but it is possible the company is pointing out at the in-display camera tech. This is just a vague guess and we don’t want to dwell further.

Going by the media invite, the event will happen in next week. So, let’s just wait a bit more to find out this mysterious display tech.
