CES 2017 brings world's first molecular identification material sensing smartphone technology

Sichuan Changhong Electric Co, Analog Devices, and Consumer Physics together build the world’s first material sensing smartphone H2 and announced it at the CES 2017, Las Vegas. All these major companies worked together to give rise to the SCiO material sensing technology into mobile phones.

As the technology implies, with the help of first of its kinds smartphone Changhong H2, consumers can analyze the properties of foods, liquids, medication, body metrics, and much more. The smartphone scans the material and immediately show interesting insights based on the chemical composition of that smartphone.

Mr Jin Li who is the President of Sichuan Changhong mentioned in a statement saying:

"Changhong H2, with the integrated, miniaturized near-infrared spectrometer, marks a huge step forward for connected devices and makes it possible to see the physical world around us like never before via a mobile phone, which is the most common smart device in the world."


The smartphone will be helpful to examine the adulterated food items. Today, many unfair means use some artificial things to make food items look attractive and the best food items to exemplify here are indeed the fruits. Many improper chemicals are injected in the fruits to make them look but they rather harm the health of the consumers. Changhong H2 comes here as a savior by detecting the chemical compositions of any food items and makes you aware of such adulterations. This further improves wellness and overall health of a consumer.

The company also claims that compared to regular smartphones, the Changhong H2 is 20% more energy efficient.

Talking about the technical specifications, the smartphone features boasts a unique 6-inch extra-large high-resolution screen and a seamless user experience with 2.0GHz/8-core CPU.
