UPDATE (June 4th, 2020):
It is now time for the Android TV dongle promo video that has been shared by XDA Developers on its official YouTube channel. It is the sea video that was the basis of the original report detailing the new hardware's features and design. While all the information shared in the video is the same, it is always better to see the product in the video.

Google is widely rumored to be working on a new Android TV dongle for making dumb TVs smart. It is said to be a Chromecast Ultra successor with a release speculated around the time it will announce new hardware products. The new dongle is reportedly significantly different and better than predecessors and now thanks to XDA folks, we have a better idea of what that means.
The team has got their hands on a promo video for the dongle that was originally obtained by an Android developer while digging in a pre-release firmware. It shows a design similar to Chromecast Ultra but not an exact circle. The device has an internal codename Sabrina and will run Android TV out of the box. It will also have a remote control for better navigation and user experience.
The video shows that it will be available in White, Black, and Pink color options. The leaked images suggest a Sandstone-like finish but that is only an assumption. The remote control is in White color with standard control buttons and a dedicated Google Assistant button. We can only see the upper half of the remote which means there could be more buttons or something "new" in the bottom half. It should make browsing through content and menus/options a lot more convenient than relying on a connected smartphone or tablet.
The user interface has also undergone a huge revamp with a focus on movies and TV shows over applications. It shows a carousel of recommended content to watch and whenever a particular title is select, it will show a cover image, title, and the platform on which it is available. Other screenshots show integration with smart home products, Google Assistant, and YouTube TV.
The same leak further reveals that this new Android TV dongle by Google will be powered by an Amlogic processor. It will also support Dolby Vision for superior video quality. It should be noted that the leaked promo video was shot in October 2019 which means it is quite old. There is a good chance that Google may have made some changes to the design and features that we just talked about. As a result, we would suggest you take these details with a slight pinch of salt.
