Samsung has confirmed that Samsung Gaming Hub is now available for all 2022 Samsung smart TVs. It is a new service that was first announced earlier this year. It is a dedicated hub for all gaming needs of users. It not only supports consoles but also cloud-based game streaming services. The latter eliminates the need for buying extra hardware or downloading any new app.
Samsung Gaming Hub currently supports Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Google Stadia, and Utomik. It says Amazon Luna support is coming soon but did not specify exactly when to expect the release. A user will simply need to launch his subscribed game streaming service and sign in with a relevant account. Their game library and progress will become available right away and will also get synced as they will keep using it.
The new service is available for the 2022 Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, QLEDs, and 2022 Smart Monitor Series. If you have any of these products, you need to wait for a software update that will bring the gaming hub. Once it is available, the hub will show your games and gaming services in a single place. It will even show your Bluetooth accessories like headphones and controllers.
The announcement says even entertainment services like YouTube, Twitch, and Spotify will be accessible directly from the same hub. It will further show the latest gaming news, tutorials, favorite music and podcasts, and trailers for upcoming games.
