Various reports previously suggested the arrival of the Vivo Y95 as a successor to the Vivo Y83 in the first week of November and now in the latest rumor mill regarding the same smartphone, an online tech website shared that Y95 could be priced at Rs. 15,000 (roughly $205) featuring a Halo waterdrop notch much like many of the recent flagships. The phone is expected to be launched in India first before any other country gets it, which is not sure if that would happen in the first place or not.
Featuring a 6.22 inch IPS LCD display, the Vivo Y95 offers an 8MP front-facing camera though we still need to take these specifications as a grain of salt until anything gets official. It’s speculated that the Y95 might sport a 4GB RAM though the exact SoC isn’t confirmed yet. Packing a 13MP/5MP dual camera setup on the rear side, Vivo Y95 would be fueled by a 3,260 mAh battery. The rumors also leave us expecting to see FunTouch OS that would be based upon Android 8.1 Oreo.
As the aforementioned phone was expected to be launched in early November, we could still wait for it until the news gets official which we could expect to have mid-ranged Helio P22 or A22 considering how the Y93 features Snapdragon 439 while the Y97 has Helio P60 onboard.
