Realme launched its AirPods-like truly wireless earbuds back in December last year. The earbuds have achieved much appreciation from its buyers, thanks to the pricing compared to the AirPods. So, while the company offers you a complete look-alike, it keeps the pricing down so you can afford it.
Following the same idea, the company appears to be planning the successor to the Buds Air. And, we assume, the new truly wireless earbuds will copy the AirPods Pro model. While there are no details on the successor, the name of the audio accessory has been caught in an official teaser video recently released by the company.
Going by what has been showcased inside the teaser video of the Realme UI, the name of the accessory is Realme Buds Air Neo. In the video, during the introduction of a new feature called Dual Earphone Connection, the name of the device can be seen clearly. In a screenshot of a user interface, it is listed inside the connected media devices with the phone.
There haven’t been any leaks or any kind of speculations on the Buds Air Neo but there is no harm in assuming that the successor would include some obvious advancement. Expect to see high-end features like active noise cancellation, and more, basically something which wasn’t made available on the Buds Air.
The current earbuds by Realme support Bluetooth 5.0 and they make use of Google Fast Pair protocol. They come with dual microphones, have 12mm driver and Dynamic Bass Boost for superior bass quality. They come with touch controls support to quickly perform some tasks. Realme Buds Air is rated to deliver up to 3 hours of continuous music playback and they can last for up to 17 hours with the wireless charging case.
The Realme Buds Air introduced for Rs. 3,999 in India, so expect the Buds Air Neo to be little pricier than this. Else, we look forward to hearing more.
